Understanding The Value Of Your Home

As a Glendale Realtor and resident I am asked to evaluate the value of homes in our neighborhood almost every day!  It is essential to keep in mind that the current market value of your home is NOT what you put into it or what you need to get out of it, or what your neighbor's home sold for 6 months ago!  The current value of your home is based on today's real estate market, available financing, the condition of your home and more importantly the experience of the person you hire to represent you in the sale of your home.  Take for example my listing at 1400 Birch (we just closed escrow last week) the seller's of this lovely home did their homework!  Not only did they pay close attention to the comparable listings and sales in the area but they listened to my recommendations on what to do in order to make the home appeal to buyer's.   The result...SOLD!!!
