Last week I lost a loved one who was a huge influence on my faith in God.  She was the most loving and caring person I knew.  She would have been 94 years old this month.  

Her passing in the midst of of the holiday craziness, made me stop and think about the true meaning of Christmas.  I found myself caught up once again in all of the commercialism.  As I paused to collect my thoughts and count my blessings  I realized that need to slow down and enjoy the wonderful life God has given me.
