Remember the phrase "Starter Home"?
Call me old school but when I was a young adult, I wanted to purchase my first home before I owned an expensive car. Of course I knew that my first home was going to be a "starter home" meaning it was not going to be perfect and more than likely it would need a lot of work. My biggest priority was location so I looked and looked until I found a home in Glendale that I could afford. Once again I was not concerned about a fancy kitchen or pretty hardwood floors, I was concerned about owning a piece of property.
These days young adults are acquiring fancy handbags and European cars before they purchase a piece of property. The sad fact of the matter is that those spending habits delay or possibly prevent them from ever owning a piece of property. When you think of it, a fancy car, watch or handbag is hardly a status symbol if you are still renting! To an old school gal like me that type of behavior shouts STUPIDITY!
We need to start at point A to get to point B. Trust me when I say that you will be able to enjoy having all of those fancy shmancy items one day and own a piece of property if you acquire them in the right order. Ready to get "started"?? Call me today and let me help you find your "starter home".
